JESSIE POWELL

Welcome to my portfolio. My name is Jessie Powell, and I am a Portland, OR local. Currently I work as an associate environmental engineer at a mid-size engineering consulting company. Just a year and a half ago, I was finishing up my final year at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. My coursework has focused on hydrology, water treatment, chemistry, and resource management, and wetland restoration. I invite you to explore some of my larger academic projects below.

Additional interests and hobbies include practicing my javelin throwing, backpacking, and reading books by Paulo Coelho, Louise Erdrich, and Stephen Graham Jones. I recently started playing the guitar as well. When I am not busy with work, I enjoy vegan, sugar-free cooking, watching track and field meets, and doing anything outdoors.
